Contemporary Jazz Instructor
JP Hon was born in Hong Kong and began her dance training at the age of 17. Upon her graduation in The City University of Hong Kong with a bachelor in Material Engineering, she is currently studying in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Contemporary Dance.
Due to her passion and enthusiasm, she traveled to Netherland for dance intensive courses held by Henny Jurriëns Stichting in 2017, such as classes by Hofesh Shechter Company and Akram Khan Company.
Though JP has started late in the dance field, she has numerous opportunities to show her talent in dancing offered by her schoolmates and choreographers. She created her first duo choreography 《Shadow》 for Chor Outlet in 2017. She also participated in several performances, such as《The Weight of Lightness: Ink Art at M+》by David Steele; 《River》by Jamie Redfern; 《WeekEnd》by Joycine Ho ;《Two Voices in a Heart》by Ku Man Ian etc.
