Genie Lok was born in Hong Kong, recently studying in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, major in Contemporary dance. She started learning ballet at the age of 3, gradually got in training with Chinese dance, jazz and Contemporary since secondary school .

 

She has got the certificate of R.A.D exam from Grade1 to Advanced 1, Beijing Dance Academy Chinese dance grade exam grade11-12 and C.S.T.D exam grade1-5.

 

She has participated in annual dance showing of Flowers’ Angel Dance Academy from 2007-2017, She also got the opportunity to be the main character in 2017 showing. Genie participated “You can’t stop the beat” by Suen Ming Kit and “Journey” by Wong Mei Yuk in West Kowloon “Freescape Happing”(2017). She participated in “Back” by Lam Po, performed in “We dance” and GYDP showing in Hong Kong Cultural Centre Foyer(2017). She has participated in “River” by Jaime Redfern, worked with Wong Choi Si and Mao Wei for inner school performances.

 

She is love to teach and share what she have learnt in dancing to others, she feel grateful to dance.
